The present thesis, from its general project biomimetic title, expresses the will to investigate and theorize about the relationship between biomimetics and project work in the area of industrial design. That is, it is proposed to investigate in the conceptual field of biomimetics to rescue everything that contributes to the construction of a theoretical project framework relevant for the enrichment of the daily task of designing, as well as, enable aspects of a new heuristic that allows alternative to conventional project approaches. The subtitle "Approaches to the teaching of the project in industrial design" indicates the additional intention of contributing the findings of the project biomimetics to the teaching of the project in students of the degree of Industrial Design. It is, then, to articulate the relatively new notional field of biomimicry, a notion coined by the biologist Janine Benyus in 1997, with: \na) the project process in general and, in particular, that of Industrial Design and, \nb) with the teaching of such a process for the continuous improvement of our future professionals. This articulation is the basis of the theoretical framework of this thesis.

La presente tesis, desde su título general biomimética proyectual, expresa la voluntad de investigar y teorizar acerca de la relación entre la biomimética y la labor proyectual en el área del diseño industrial. Es decir, se propone indagar en el campo conceptual de la biomimética para rescatar todo aquello que aporte a la construcción de un marco teórico proyectual pertinente para el enriquecimiento de la cotidiana tarea del diseñar, como así también, posibilitar aspectos de una nueva heurística que permita abordajes proyectuales alternativos a los convencionales. El subtítulo "Aproximaciones a la enseñanza del proyecto en diseño industrial" señala la intención adicional de aportar los hallazgos de la biomimética proyectual a la enseñanza del proyecto en alumnos del grado de la carrera de Diseño Industrial. Se trata, entonces, de articular el campo nocional relativamente nuevo de la biomímesis, noción acuñada por la bióloga Janine Benyus en 1997, con: \n> el proceso proyectual en general y, en particular, el del Diseño Industrial\n> la enseñanza de tal proceso para la mejora continua de nuestros futuros profesionales. Esta articulación es la base del marco teórico de esta tesis.
