This thesis is the product of an investigation motivated by the need to develop a theoretical construction that would renew the conceptualization around the formal, representational, and stylistic manifestations of hybridization in motion graphics as a form of an audiovisual language. This work objective is to make a theoretical contribution to the study of motion graphics from a new perspective.\nTo this end, three main subjects are proposed in the definition of its internal functioning -specification of motion graphics as a form of language, demonstration of the specificity of hybridization in this form of language and the uses of this hybrid language-, which allows us to analyze the manifestations of hybridization as an essential aspect of their processes of production of meaning.

La presente tesis es producto de una investigación motivada por la necesidad de desarrollar una construcción teórica que renueve la conceptualización alrededor de las manifestaciones formales, representacionales y estilísticas de la hibridación en los motion graphics como forma de lenguaje audiovisual. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo realizar un aporte teórico al estudio de los motion graphics desde una nueva perspectiva. \nPara tal fin, se plantean tres temáticas principales en la definición de su funcionamiento interno - puntualización de los motion graphics como forma de lenguaje, demostración de la especificidad de la hibridación en esta forma de lenguaje y los usos de este lenguaje híbrido-, lo que permite analizar las manifestaciones de la hibridación como aspecto esencial de sus procesos de producción de sentido.
